| AEM-7 Electric Locomotives |

The AEM-7, developed in Sweden, was a next generation electric locomotive designed for use on Amtrak's NorthEast Corridor. On New Jersey Transit, it has been superceded by the ALP-44, though Amtrak still has the AEM-7 in service. The photo above is the MTH premier line scale model, released in October of 1999. The detailing is superb! A photo of the prototype is shown below.
