| Fairbanks Morse Diesel Locomotives |

The Fairbanks-Morse Trainmaster was one of the early, powerful diesel locomotives. This is a Williams model of the Reading Trainmaster.

A number of eastern railroads had Trainmasters including the Erie Lackawana, above. The Trainmaster was put to good use on the Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ), which had a sizable fleet of them, for both passenger and freight service. One of the CNJ Trainmasters is shown below.


A Southern Pacific Trainmaster is shown above, pulling a passenger train.

Fairbanks Morse made locomotives other than the tranmaster. Shown above, in Frisco colors, is the H10-44 diesel switcher.

Shown above is the H15-44, also known as the "Baby Trainmaster", in CNJ colors. Shown below are two more CNJ Trainmasters, classed by FM as the H24-66.
