0-10-0 Ten-Coupled Steam Locomotives

0-10-0 Ten-Coupled

As with most 0-x-0 steam locomotives, the Ten-Coupled was a switcher engine, used to move cars around a railroad yard.  In the case of the Ten-Coupled, it was used to move heavy loads in a hump yard.  Only two of these were built by the B&O. Canadian Pacific also had some of these huge switchers, as shown below.
